UV Catalyst Powder (Sun Cure)

This pack will contain enough UV Catalyst Powder for either 1 litre or 5 litres of polyester surfboard resin. Please select the desired quantity in the drop down box.

This catalyst powder is an ultra violet catalyst. When added to your polyester resin, it will enable the resin to cure rapidly (within minutes) when exposed to any Ultra Violet light source – the sun or artificial light source such as tanning bulbs.

This catalyst replaces MEKP (standard catalyst) but can be used together if wanted. Amounts need to be calculated so not to over-catalyse the resin.

This UV catalyst will allow the polyester resin to fully cure in minutes (no need to leave boards to cure for a week after glassing!)
