When we look at the meticulous thought process and development that goes into making Red Paddle Co boards, the most efficient and easy boards to use, you can understand why they are the best iSUP’s in the the world.
Introducing the new, never seem before Red Paddle Co 9’6″ Compact. Red Paddle have now designed an SUP that will fold down to the highly compact size of a backpack!!
Here are some of the new features of the Red Paddle 9’6″ Compact:
We have an iSUP that will now fit into a specifically designed back pack, half the size of the usual Red Paddle Co range. This backpack has been designed to give you extra comfort and increased back and shoulder support.
The board has been designed using a new PACT technology which is a new material that has increased durability, whilst retaining its malleable features. Making it easy to deflate and fit in the smaller bag.
The next question we had was, with the reduced bag size, how do we fit the paddle in? This wasn’t an easy task for Red Paddle Co, so what they did:
Created a 5 piece paddle – this is basically the 5 piece version of our favourite, affordable upgrade, the Carbon Nylon. The shaft is a lightweight and durable carbon construction, with a ECO Designed nylon blade. This has got to be the most compact paddle created.
Like the FCS II click in design, the 9’6″ Compact twin fin system is the click in type, with a secondary screw for added security. The fin boxes on this iSUP twinny are also compatible with all FCS twin tab systems.
Still without a doubt, the best pump in the market is the Red Paddle Co Titan pump. This pump allows anyone to pump up their SUP to a very rigid state (up to 25 psi), very quickly!
Of course this too will fit in the bag, folded up in the new SUP.
The concept is great, a lighter board that remains stable, durable, performs well and is easy to use and put away. Along with Red Paddle Co name in the market their dedication and passion to providing a superior product, with unrivalled customer service, this product is fantastic for those who are looking to save as much space as possible.
The down side, they aren’t available until the 1st November! But keep your eyes posted, as soon as they’re in, we’ll be sure to let you know,….watch this space.
