Luke Young Gin Palace

The new Luke Young Gin Palace model aimed at the intermediate or larger built surfer. This will allow you to paddle into waves with ease, pop up with added stability, and ride a range of waves without the difficulty of a smaller, thinner, more performance based shortboard.

This shortboard has been designed with a fairly low entry rocker, whilst carrying decent volume and width on the nose. These aspects makes this board a dream to paddle, getting you onto waves much earlier and quicker. The natural to mid tail rocker allows this high volume board to perform better than a fish; putting it in more into the ‘performance board’ brackets.

The Gin Palace gains its performance features starting from a fairly flat rocker and a small entry V at the nose. This helps channel water through to the long single concave through the mid section of the board, where the water is channelled directly into the fins. It then merges into a short V in the tail, to give the Gin Palace more speed and direction in the turns.
