eBay wetsuit sale raises money for Japan Earthquake!

March 17 2011 Categories: News

To begin with Dan Morgan advertised his wetsuit for sale on eBay just to make some money to cover the costs of his new wetsuit. However, with his extremely querky product description the wetsuit has gained a lot of media attention and he is now donating ATLEAST 90% of the costs to Good Gifts: Help for the Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims.

The bids on the wetsuit reached £940 at the time that I wrote this and Dan Morgan has stated that if it reaches £1,000 he will increase the donation to 95%!

Here are a few quotes from his funny description that gained him all of this attention in the first place:

“You can see from the pictures it has no creases and looks lovely. My friend Gaz has got a wetsuit that he doesn’t look after and it looks like an Elephant’s a**e”

“I’ll post it out the next working day following cleared payment, or if you’re around the Truro area you can come and collect it thus avoiding postage charges. Having said that, if you’re a maniac, maybe you should just let me post it to you”

We hope you like this as much as we do and help to spread the word!
