Holiday Cottages
Bantham is situated at the mouth of the River Avon in Bigbury Bay.
The beach, which is approximately 300 meters from the accommodation, is probably the finest undeveloped stretch of of soft sand in the South Hams. Ideal for children, it has many rock pools for them to play in.
The Coastal Path surrounds the bay with wonderful views out to sea or inland over the flower filled hedgerows and fields.
Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmouth and Totnes are all within easy reach.
Slightly further away is the Dartmoor National Park and the cities of Plymouth and Exeter.
The Cottages
Each of the cottages is luxuriously fitted, carpeted and equipped. The accommodation in Cottages 1,2 & 3, which can sleep a maximum of 6 people, consists of:
Ground Floor: Entrance hall with storage heater, tiled bathroom with over-bath shower unit, shaver point and heated towel rail. Utility room with automatic washing
machine and tumble dryer, sink and drying space.
First Floor: Lounge/diner approx. 15ft. x 15ft. with three piece suite including a comfortable convertible settee, dining table and chairs, colour TV, video, DVD,
pictures, lamps etc. to help create a ‘homely’ feeling, storage heater and a feature electric fire place.
Separate WC and hand basin.
Fitted kitchen approx. 9ft. x 6ft., including a built in fan cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave cooker, extractor, toaster etc.
Two large bedrooms, one double and one twin, with fitted wardrobes, dressing table etc. and electric panel heaters. Cots and high chairs are also available. Bed linen is provided but not towels or tea towels.
The lounge and kitchen have superb views over the bay. All windows are double glazed.
Cottage no. 4 is a ground floor flat, 1 twin bedroom, 1 double bedroom, and fitted with all the equipment found in the other accommodation. This flat sleeps a maximum of 4 people.
All Our Accommodation is now Non Smoking.
